Join us Sunday January 21 + 28 for a special two-week sacral sensuality yoga workshop led by Sydney.

Sacral sensuality is a two-week workshop series that includes sacral chakra education & yoga flows, somatic movement & breathwork techniques, meditation, and community reflections. 

Week 1: in depth overview of the sacral chakra, somatic movement & breathwork, sacral chakra yoga flow 

Week 2: somatic movement & breathwork, sacral chakra yoga flow & meditation, community reflections 

An all-levels workshop for those desiring to feel more embodied and in tune with their sensual nature.

THEMATIC FOCUS THIS MONTH: SELF-LOVE, PERSONAL POWER, COMPASSION, AND EMPATHY Through the HEART CHAKRA

The HEART CHAKRA governs a strong sense of self-love, compassion and understanding towards others, and empathy.

Signs of a blocked HEART CHAKRA include:

  • Tendency to self-isolate

  • Fears of intimacy

  • Often playing the role of rescuer or victim

  • Finding it difficult to trust others or

  • Lack of belief in one’s own worthiness or abilities

Physically, activating the heart chakra involves opening up and activating the body through deep backbends, balancing postures that open the chest and shoulders, and cultivating balance through discomfort.

We we will be focusing on challenging balance postures such as hand balances and dancer’s pose, as well as continuing to deepen our flexibility practice in our contortion + flexibility workshops!
