Our Team

  • Cami Arboles (she/her)

Hey, I’m Cami! I’m the founder of MBSC, which was born at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in summer 2020. I had just graduated from Yale, and it was a difficult and lonely time. I turned to pole dancing and yoga as a form of catharsis. Although movement is powerful as a personal practice, I really missed sharing it with other people. I decided to create a community to practice movement together through mutual accountability. And then MBSC was born!

I have been practicing yoga for 7 years now. I became a certified yoga teacher in 2017 and have been teaching consistently ever since. I am am also an experienced aerialist, pole dancer, and contortionist.

Movement is a form of liberation + healing for me, and I hope it can do the same for you!

Hi beautiful humans! My name is Camillia (but my friends call me Crypto Cami).

I am an LA girl by birth, a NYC resident by choice, and a crypto enthusiast by passion. I currently work for a crypto startup called Lolli that I adore (we are the leading bitcoin rewards app that gives you free bitcoin rewards when you shop at more than a 1000+ of your favorite stores like Starbucks, Sephora, Revolve, & more), and I am a former D1 soccer player from UPenn!

I love all things health & wellness - including personal finance (aka financial wellness)! I am beyond excited to continuing exploring my love for movement and mindset practices along with you at MBSC! If you wish to find more of me, you can follow me on Tok Tok or instagram @wellbycami!

    Jelena Grozdanich (she/her)

Hello everyone! My name is Jelena and it is an honor to have the opportunity to lead the MBSC community in collective movement. I treat my movement practice as a holistic healing modality and encourage students to find their own deeper meaning in movement. In 2020, I became entranced with the wellness space and developed my own movement community, TheSecret.LA, which offers free movement experiences for all levels as well as provides simple lifestyle hacks to encourage others to live a healthier, happier lifestyle.

Outside of my commitment to the wellness space, I am passionate about the arts and have worked in the music industry for over a decade. I am a creative marketing junior executive at Columbia Records and also the Vice President of Wellful, Sony Music’s employee network group dedicated to improving employee wellness.

When I am not working to place artist’s music in visual media or improving the lives of my fellow employees and TheSecret.LA community through wellness offerings, I can be found living a very Los Angeles lifestyle. I enjoy spending time in nature, cooking healthy meals with fresh seasonal ingredients, dancing at every event that allows, and going to museums, art galleries and live music events. You can find me on the world wide web at @jelena.wav and @TheSecret.LA!

  • Lauren Mesa (she/her)

I’m Lauren! I teach Yoga Sculpt class every Friday at 9:00am PST.

With over 10 years of experience, I have learned what yoga practice means to me and how to support others to also understand it.

My approach to teaching covers all layers of flow; connection to breath, movement, music, flexibility, strength, releasing, and growing a strong relationship to self. I hope to support you in understanding your rhythm, unique flow, and how to maintain both.

Essentially, I help guide you to allow yourself to deeply love yourself in the most sustainable way.
